Direct Sale

Direct Sale Over View

Gutter Brudderz may occasionally offer products directly through our official social-media posts on Reddit, Instagram, and X.

Direct Sales are handled outside the Shopify checkout system. Claims are made publicly on the original social-media post, validated through our GUT’R ID system, and completed through Venmo.

(Learn about GUT’R ID)

This page explains how Direct Sale claims, client validation, GUT’R IDs, payment, claim review, product allocation, and test-run inventory are handled. The goal is a clear and consistent process for everyone participating.

Before You Participate

Complete the Direct Sale Validation Form (GUT’R ID) before participating whenever possible.

The form is used to establish your client record and issue your permanent GUT’R ID.

A GUT’R ID is:

Free.

Assigned automatically.

Permanently connected to your client record.

Used across each of these platforms: Reddit, Instagram, and X.

Used to allow your claim to receive first-review priority for any offered opportunity that you may be eligible for.

Your email address is the primary identifier for your client record. Use the same active email address whenever you update your information.

***

We recommend using the same email address when interacting with any of our services. We have a few mail & special interest list (such as ‘The Rotators) floating around. We reconcile them through your email address. So use the same one in order to not miss out on future opportunities.

***

A valid GUT’R ID is required before a Direct Sale can be completed.

Platform-Specific Offers

Each Direct Sale belongs to the social platform where the offer is posted.

An offer posted on Reddit may differ from one posted on Instagram or X. Products, sizes, colors, quantities, prices, and claim windows may vary by platform.

To claim an item, comment on the original Direct Sale post on the platform where the offer appears.

Claims made through private messages, another post, or another platform do not establish a place in the claim queue.

How to Claim

Follow the claim format shown in the Direct Sale post.

Participants with a GUTR ID should generally claim using the formats below or something similar:

Acceptable

GUTR-127 | XL

GUT’R-94 - Large

gutr-217 : XS

Unacceptable

136-???

Extra Large please!

Or any other comment that does not resemble the above acceptable comments.

This sample format identifies:

Your full GUT’R ID.

Your requested product size (if applicable)

This public comment establishes your place in the claiming queue.

(so do it right, or we will have to skip you)

How Claims Are Reviewed

Claims are reviewed in chronological or a linear order.

Claims are reviewed from oldest to newest based on the timestamps of the original public comments.

A participant without a GUT’R ID will be excluded from intake.

Claim Authentication

A claim must pass two-part authentication:

The platform username placing the claim must match the username registered to the client record (our GUT’R ID Registry).

The GUT’R ID used in the claim must match that same client record (the same registry).

A username alone is not enough.

A GUT’R ID alone is not enough.

Both must validate together.

Client Information

The Direct Sale Validation Form will collect:

Name - For identifying you for mailing your claim.

Email Address - For all-purpose communications (your primary key)

Shipping Address - For, of course, mailing your claim.

Reddit Username - For claiming on the Reddit platform (optional).

Instagram Username - For claiming on the Instagram platform (optional).

X Username - For claiming on the X/Twitter platform (optional).

Venmo Username - For, of course, sending you the invoice for the final part of the claim…payment.

The form is not an email-marketing signup, and yes. We do need all that information. We like to keep things moving, and having this information readily on-hand allows us to do just that.

This is not a sweep stake. It is an auction-like opportunity we provide to those clients who wish to voluntarily participate in this on-going program.

You may update your information by submitting the same form again using the same email address, and as many times as you need to.

Your existing GUT’R ID remains attached to your client record.

Venmo Requirement

An active Venmo account is required to complete a Direct Sale.

When your claim is reached and successfully validated, Gutter Brudderz will issue a Venmo transaction request containing the applicable sale details.

These may include:

product

size

purchase price

shipping charges

shipping address

payment deadline

terms of sale

You must review the information, confirm that it is correct, accept the terms of sale, and complete payment within the stated payment window (72 hours / 3 days).

Receiving a Venmo request does not complete the sale.

Payment completes the claim.

Test-Run Products

(About Product Testing & Validation)

Part of the Gutter Brudderz Direct Sale catalog comes from our ongoing product testing program.

When we evaluate a product currently offered, or being considered for our store, we order controlled sample runs and inspect the items individually and as a production batch.

These products are purchased for validation, not for long-term inventory.

Once testing is complete, we generally do not keep the samples.

Products that pass our testing standards will be offered through Direct Sale.

These are legitimate production samples that successfully completed our inspection process but are no longer needed after testing.

Production Errors and Collector Items

Occasionally, a test run produces an unusual manufacturing or decoration error.

These rare production mistakes are handled separately and are never presented as normal approved inventory.

Depending on the item and the nature of the error, it may be:

Offered through the Gutter Brudderz eBay Auction site as a clearly disclosed collector item.

OR

Used in a separate Gleam promotional giveaway.

OR

Withheld from sale entirely if the condition makes it inappropriate for normal use.

Any known production error will be clearly identified and described.

Where Test Products Go

PASS → Direct Sale
Products that successfully complete the applicable Gutter Brudderz testing procedure may be offered through Direct Sale.

PRODUCTION ERROR → eBay Auction or Gleam Promotion
Rare, identifiable production mistakes may be auctioned to collectors through eBay or used in separate Gleam promotional giveaways, depending on the item and its condition.

UNSUITABLE → Not Distributed
Items that are unsafe, unusable, or otherwise inappropriate for consumers are not sold or given away.

Product Availability

Each Direct Sale has limited inventory.

Claims continue to be reviewed until the available quantity has been successfully paid for and allocated.

Earlier comments do not permanently reserve inventory if authentication fails or payment is not completed.

When a claim fails or times out, review may continue to the next eligible claimant.

Public Claim Status

Reviewed claims may receive one of three public labels:

CLAIMED
The claimant was authenticated, accepted the sale terms, paid within the required window, and received the item allocation.

TIMEOUT
The claimant was authenticated and received a payment request but did not complete payment within the required window.

INVALID
The platform username and submitted GUT’R ID did not match the same validated client record.

Private client, payment, Venmo, shipping, and contact information is never posted publicly.

When Review Ends

Claim review ends when all available inventory has been successfully allocated.

At that point:

Review stops.

No additional payment requests are issued.

Remaining comments will not be reviewed.

Remaining comments will receive no public status label.

An unlabeled comment does not necessarily mean the claim failed. It may simply mean the available inventory was already fully claimed.

Fair-Play Standard

Gutter Brudderz applies the same Direct Sale rules to every participant.

Claim priority is determined by:

The platform where the offer was posted - Offer Location.

GUT’R ID review = Collection of Claims.

Public Comment Order = Chronological Claim Order.

Username & GUT’R ID Authentication = Claim Credential Verification.

Successful Client Validation = Claim & Authentication Accepted.

Venmo Invoice Delivery = The Bill.

Acceptance Of The Sale Terms = You Accept The Terms of the Offer.

Payment Within The Required Window = 72 Hour Payment Window (from invoice delivery) Before The Offer Times Out (expires).

Private messages, repeated comments, early form submissions, or requests to hold an item do not override the public claim process.
